Founded as a Boutique Design Agency in 2006

While our agency has matured over the years, we were founded as a boutique design agency in 2006 in California. Our roots in the music industry supporting artists like John Mayer, Tim McGraw, and Beyonce lead the way for high end graphic productions for tour artwork and designs, merchandise, and album artwork.

Outside the music industry, MAGNETIC supported a variety of national and global brands such as VIZIO, DirecTV, LifeProof and Thermo Fischer by designing campaign artwork, packaging designs, event collateral and point of purchase displays. The high polish graphic design from our team could be seen in major retail outlets like Costco and Target as well as in the medical industry and throughout most major arenas.

Expanding Agency Services to Digital and Web Design

The commercial explosion of the world wide web and eCommerce quickly led to an expansion of services within MAGNETIC. Existing and nearly all future client requests would include some digital touchpoint. Our design services continued to cover web design, digital media design, interactive and experiential design.

By 2008 our team was Agency of Record for multiple multinational brands and growing rapidly. Our design services continued to evolve to include web development and interactive development. Our digital design services also evolved to include digital media and digital marketing which meant our designs were now responsible for ROI.

Where our original design services were meant to turn heads and create visual interest while communicating product and service details, our digital artwork was immediately tied to actionable digital metrics.

Being held responsible for key business metrics as part of a digital shift in our agency services, we quickly realized that the service requests coming into our agency weren't always built on a solid foundation.
