Magnetic was tasked with creating a fresh new digital branding presence for Caldera Spas. From concept and tone to web design and development, we created an immersive hot tub shopping experience that re-defined the industry standard.

The hot tub is a gathering place where we spend quality time with family, friends, individuals or couples. Find peace of mind. Relax, re-juvenate, and re-connect. Embrace the mind, body and soul in different healing ways. Every interaction reflects a significant moment and we embraced the concept of “Capturing Moments” to tell the new Caldera story.
We set out to craft three distinctly unique images hitting on the main segments of Caldera's target audience. The direction was “Family Time," “Happy Couple," and “Self Reflecting Individual.” Magnetic set the style, tone and overall art direction of the shoot to capture the moments for each of the personas described as their target audiences. We brought in photographer Dean Bradshaw, whose unique style of images would set Caldera apart from their competition. The final images were composited from multiple images as well as 3D renderings. The Website Experience
We designed and developed a website that revitalized the category online and set a new industry standard for Hot Tubs. Starting with a full revamp of the user experience, we designed a responsive structure for the site that paralleled the soothing and peaceful nature of being in a hot tub. The new shopping experience leads users through an informative process, simplifies finding their ideal hot tub and ultimately drives customers into dealers. The digital branding campaign embraced the consumer's state of mind, spoke emotionally to each persona by capturing those “moments” through the visual vignettes. On the technology side, the site is built on a custom tailored CMS developed in Python/Django, and deployed onto the Heroku cloud hosting platform.
